“The Addams Family” My memoir By DC Trimble It was August 24, 2017 as I tugged on my socks and shoes. I was going to the play “The Addams Family” and I was thrilled! My grandma and grandpa were taking me as well as one of my cousins and we would be joining some other family there. I heard a knock at the door and rushed to answer it. It was my cousin! Behind her in a van, waited my grandparents! “Hi!” I greeted her. Just then, my grandma and grandpa came walking up our steps. My mom, who was right next to me said, “Hi Mom and Dad. Hi Jocey!” They all said, “hi” and we exchanged hugs. Just then my brothers came running up to the door. My brother, Dek, spoke first, “Hi Grand- “Hi Jocey!” My brother Milo interrupted. “Hey, don’t interrupt me Milo!” Dek shouted. “Hi gwama, hi gwanpa!” My 2-year old brother cutely said.
